Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. The quote tool needs six things: gender, birth date, how your general health is, whether you use tobacco, how much coverage you want, and the term length. We process only those six items to show rates. Personal details like your name, address, and medical history are requested only if you go on to apply.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

These are what each carrier quoted for the health class you picked. The actual premium will be finalized by the carrier's underwriting team, which may confirm the class you assumed, move you to a better one, or place you in a different tier. Nothing shown here is a binding offer or a rate guarantee.

What happens when I click Apply?

You supply your name, and the application launches with the precise quote you selected, moving to the carriers' secure platform. You may pause and return to it anytime, and your signature will be electronic. Susman Insurance Agency (California License 0B75129) administers all applications.

Will I need a medical exam?

It varies by carrier, the coverage amount, and your health profile. Some carriers use accelerated underwriting and can approve right away if you qualify; each quote indicates whether an exam is required, may be required, or is not needed.

Is a longer term better?

Pick a term that covers the period your family would suffer financial hardship if you were gone: years of a mortgage, dependent children at home, business debt. Longer terms have higher monthly premiums but freeze the rate for more years. The quote tool shows side-by-side comparisons of 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year options.

Does this site sell my information?

No. The quote tool does not ask for contact information; we never sell or trade visitor information; and our analytics use no cookies. The privacy page spells out everything we gather and which services touch your data.
